Parents requested a sports program for our youth who wish not play baseball or basketball and suggested cheerleading as a possibility.  As a result, BCYL developed the Caribe Cheerleading program in 2011 with 24 girls between the ages of 5-15. This program has expanded and the squads have become involved in different activities in the community. In 2012, we had 40 girls from grades K-12 and have continued to see growth every year since!

Practices are held Mondays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Achievement First Middle School and Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Bridge Academy. All squads perform every Saturday during our 3rd-5th and 6th-8th grade Division basketball games, as well as throughout the year in different BCYL and community activities.
