Math & Reading Tutoring
Math and Reading Tutoring provides small group instruction in reading and math to support students in building foundational skills and academic confidence. In addition to targeted instruction, students engage in enrichment project development and presentations, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Program Details:
- Day and Time: Saturday 9:00am-12:30pm
- Location: University of Bridgeport
- Target Audience: Grade 3-9 Students
In-School Volunteer Tutoring
The In-School Volunteer Tutoring program provides one-on-one and small group support to students in grades 1-8 who need additional assistance in core subjects. Volunteers work closely with teachers to reinforce classroom learning by assisting students with reading, math, and other designated subjects. This program helps students build confidence, improve academic skills, and stay on track for success.
Program Details:
- Day and Time: Monday – Friday for at least 1 hour per week between 8:30am-2:00pm
- Location: 22 Bridgeport Public Schools
- Target Audience: Grade 1-8 students
