Welcome to BCYL’s Girls on the Move Program

In partnership with The Justice Education Center, Girls on the Move is more than just a basketball program—it’s a transformative experience that builds confidence, leadership, and essential life skills for girls in grades 3-8. Through mentorship, teamwork, and personal development, participants learn the importance of self-respect, setting boundaries, and striving for success in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Program Details Grades 3-8:

  • Day and Time: Practice once per week and one game per week 6pm-9m
  • Location: McGivney Community Center, Madison Avenue Clubhouse, Central High School
  • Target Audience: Grades 3 to 8
