Math & Reading Tutoring

BCYL averages 20-30 students per course with a student-to-tutor ratio ranging from 1:1 to 4:1. Cohorts have achieved up to 18% improvement in math and reading post-test vs. pre-test.

    The secret sauce is just the family. The networking here is, I think, one of the best in Connecticut, one of the best in the world. There's so much talent that gets cultivated, and there's so much talent that gets developed right here in house in Caribe that nobody really sees all the time or talks about, because we all, you know, kind of go about our different walks of life. But this is...this is my extended family

    I've been a part of caribe for 13 years now. It's been a great experience. That's where I pretty much learned, and started playing basketball, and I played for a pretty good school...It has great programs like tutoring. I'm a part of a lot of other programs like the Success Program, the Gambling Awareness Program.

    Just giving people something to look forward to, you know, especially with the next generation...having them starting them off looking forward to sports and then next looking forward to doing better in school, improving their grades, so that they could go for scholarships. You know...that's big time
