Baseball Overview
BCYL Baseball is entering a new era of player development. Beginning in January 2027, our redesigned baseball program will provide young athletes ages 5–8 with a structured 9-month development experience focused on building strong fundamentals, confidence, baseball knowledge, teamwork, and a love for the game.
Rather than offering one short season, BCYL Baseball gives players consistent opportunities to learn, train, practice, compete, and grow throughout the Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. Players will receive age-appropriate instruction, participate in organized practices and game experiences, and develop the skills needed to progress in baseball.
For 2027, the program will feature two developmental divisions: T-Ball for ages 5–6 and Rookies for ages 7–8, creating a clear pathway for young athletes to build their skills and grow within the BCYL Baseball Program.
Our goal is to develop the next generation of BCYL baseball players while creating a positive, competitive, and engaging experience that athletes and families are proud to be part of.

T-Ball | Ages 5–6
Program Overview
BCYL T-Ball is designed to give young athletes ages 5–6 a fun, positive, and exciting introduction to baseball. Our focus is on helping players learn the fundamentals of the game while building confidence, coordination, teamwork, and a genuine love for baseball.
Unlike a traditional short-season program, BCYL T-Ball is a 9-month player development experience. Beginning in January 2027, players will have consistent opportunities to learn, practice, play, and grow throughout the Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
Through age-appropriate instruction, structured practices, fun baseball activities, and organized game experiences, players will develop the foundation they need to continue progressing in the sport.
Players Will Develop
- Hitting and basic batting fundamentals

Our goal is to make baseball fun first, while introducing the skills, habits, and understanding players need to become the next generation of BCYL baseball athletes.

Full Program Cost: $180
Monthly Equivalent: Approximately $20 per month
Commitment: Registration is for the complete 9-month program.
The $180 registration fee covers the full 9-month BCYL T-Ball experience. The approximately $20-per-month figure represents the value of the program when the total cost is divided across nine months and does not represent enrollment in individual months.

Rookies | Ages 7–8
Program Overview
BCYL Rookies is designed for young athletes ages 7–8 who are ready to take the next step in their baseball development. Players will build on the fundamentals of the game while receiving more structured instruction, increased game experience, and opportunities to develop their baseball knowledge and confidence.
The Rookies program is a 9-month player development experience beginning in January 2027. Instead of limiting development to one short season, players will have consistent opportunities to train, compete, and improve throughout the Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
Through structured practices, skill development, organized games, and age-appropriate competitive experiences, players will learn how to apply their individual skills in real baseball situations while becoming stronger teammates and more knowledgeable players.
